Mast stepping day - 18-05-2006

The combined forces of Duncan & Simon from Silvers Marine, and Donny @ DRB Marine made short work of this job & the long anticipated re-rig was soon over. Thanks all of you!

Preparing to lift -
Start of the lift - Donny going v. gently with the crane & the Silver's guys making sure nothing catches on the way up.

So that's what those sticky out things are for -
All rigged and ready to go - ..... except for sails .... and antifouling .... ..... ... and water

While I'm on the subject of giving thanks - I'd like to thank Landy, our not so originally named Landrover Series IIa. She was with us for Elsa's journey north and at every step of the way since, serving as mobile workshop, ladder & general workhorse. We love you Landy xx
